Hastelloy B2 Pipe Fittings are used in piping systems that deal with highly corrosive environments and in highly reducing media. The Hastelloy B2 Fittings can be solid solution strengthened it gives them an elevated operating temperature range up to 870 degrees Celsius with a melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius. So the fittings are heat resistant as well. There are different types of fittings. The Alloy B2 Eccentric Reducer reduces the diameter of the pipe but aligns the pipes together at one side of the pipes so that the axis of flow is changed. There are also concentric reducers which do not change the axis of flow.

The Alloy B2 Equal Tee has three equal ends connecting three equal diameter pipes together at one junction. There are ASTM B366 Hastelloy B2 Pipe Elbow types which change the direction of flow. There are welded fittings as well as UNS N10665 Seamless Pipe Fittings. The welded fittings are more robust while the seamless fittings are more dimensionally accurate. The applications include food processing, pulp and paper industries, chemical industries, aerospace and petrochemical industrial applications.
